Bailey & John’s Blustery Lake George E-Session // Prospect Mountain & Million Dollar Beach // Lake George, NY

I met Bailey & John for the first time at the top of Prospect Mountain – with 35 mph wind gusts. I had warned them earlier in the day about the wind but they decided to brave it, and we went ahead with our plan of meeting atop Prospect. My hat goes off to them for their positivity and willingness to brave the wind and cold!  But the upside of the wind is that sometimes it’s the extreme weather that gives us the best moments in photography. Thanks weather, you delivered!

Bailey & John were both so sweet and fun to work with right from the start! Calling them photogenic is an understatement. Bailey is a high school English teacher and John works in finance, but they look like a celebrity couple poised for awards season. It’s like they stepped right out of the pages of People magazine and directly into our hearts. They even witnessed my first ever tumble during a photo-session, and were gracious enough to not let it phase them at all. I promise I won’t fall at the wedding, guys!

Here’s to Bailey & John’s future together, with or without People magazine! I cannot wait to document their June 2019 wedding at the beautiful Inn at Erlowest!

Cheers!

Alyssa & Adam’s Lakeside Wedding // Private Residence on Saratoga Lake // Saratoga Springs, NY

A perfect September day. A lakeside ceremony. A beautiful fun-loving couple. Fireworks. Jack Daniels. And, a sunset that ALMOST stole the show. That is the story of September 22nd, 2018 in a nutshell.

Adam & Alyssa live out west in Salt Lake City, but are from the Clifton Park area originally. They often spend their free time on a motorcycle exploring the breathtaking scenery of the Rockies, hiking, traveling to concerts and Patriots games. When it came to planning their wedding, it was important for them to be at home with the family and friends that mean so much to them.

The happy couple said “I Do” in the gorgeous backyard of Alyssa’s parents Saratoga Lake home, on a piece of property that her family has long called “The Point”. Alyssa’s father (with lots of helping hands, I’m sure) built the perfect stone ceremony location on the property, called in a favor from a friend at Jack Daniels and special ordered a sunset that will almost certainly never be something I can duplicate for a wedding again (Sorry,  guys!). Adam’s mother baked all of the tasty and beautiful desserts. It was truly 2 families coming together as 1 team.

Adam & Alyssa were a dream to work with. It’s rare to have BOTH the Bride and the Groom be so completely relaxed on their wedding day, but I think that speaks volumes about their relationship. There is an ease and happiness to them that is palpable when you’re around them.  Their wedding was like a being in a big group hug for 7 hours. Ok, have I nerd-ed out enough for you? Let’s get to the pictures, right?!

Thanks for including me in your perfect day, Adam & Alyssa! Loved every second of it!

Cheers to your forever as Mr. & Mrs. ❤
