Luke & Jamie’s Beachy Adirondack E-Session // Moreau State Park // Moreau, NY

Luke & Jamie took a little trip from NYC, where Luke is an up and coming music producer and Jamie works in the fashion industry, to hang with me for an afternoon. Let me just say, it is impossible not to laugh around these two. It is truly infectious. So most of this session was spent doubled over cracking up, or someone (me) yelling that they were going to to pee their pants. So suffice it to say, we had a blast and a half. The weather was beautiful and seemed to be granting wishes as I made them. A breeze here, a little sun there. Perfection!

During the session in between belly laughs, Luke said , ” I love when she laughs. That’s what I love so much about her, she has the best laugh. I can’t not laugh when she laughs.”

If that is not the perfect quote to sum up this session, and this couple, then I don’t know what is. Congrats to one of my favorite couples, in the history of life. I cannot wait for this wedding!

Autumn Portrait Yearbook // Fall Mini Sessions // Saratoga Springs, NY

A colorful Fall is one of the perks of living in the Northeast. It’s such a great time to get outside, enjoy the crisp air, foliage, and maybe a little time in front of a camera with you loved ones! Fall is always the most popular season for Portraits in my experience. So, this year I’m offering one more day of Fall Mini Sessions on Sunday, October 22nd, from 2- 5:30pm at Lakota’s Farm in Cambridge, NY.  Multiple red barns, perfectly weathered wood barn, hay bales, gorgeous rolling hills, and beautiful Draught Horses! A few sessions are still available so snag one and lets enjoy the Fall together!

Photo REWIND // Baby Cruz’s At-Home Newborn Session // Saratoga Springs, NY

It’s been a while since I shot this cozy at-home newborn session of Baby Cruz, but I just have to give it’s time to shine. There is something so peaceful about a baby at home, without the frills and swaddles and props. Having siblings around who are active and full of life, popping in and out of the frames, makes the house feel so full of love. Big Brother Clark did not disappoint with his candid appearances. He loves being a big brother and it certainly shows! This natural light filled, laid back lazy day, was perfect for this family. It won’t be long before it’s two boys causing a ruckus in this house. But for now at least, it’s the cutest calm before the storm, ever.

Kayte & Corey’s Vineyard Wedding // Altamont Winery – Altamont, NY

Kayte & Corey’s wedding at the Altamont Winery was a gorgeous summer-like September day, with gorgeous golden late day light and no shortage of emotion.  These two really pull at your heart strings. In fact, I’m not sure I’ve ever teared up more while photographing a wedding! Check out their beautiful day complete with nervous energy, teary moments, laughs and pure joy.

Thanks so much for allowing us to be a part of your day, Kayte & Corey!

Morgan’s Senior Portrait Session // Saratoga Spa State Park – Saratoga Springs, NY

It was 90 degrees and humid in late September for this session. But, you wouldn’t know it judging by Morgan’s easy-going attitude and abundance of smiles. We had beautiful light, a very occasional breeze and good attitudes all around. Sounds like the recipe for a successful portrait session to me. We triumphed through the unseasonably warm temperatures and the final images were our reward. In the end, I absolutely loved capturing Morgan sunny personality on camera.

Dave & Danielle’s Family Session // Yaddo Gardens – Saratoga Springs, NY

Sometimes you just click with your clients and each time you photograph them it’s just like hanging out with old friends. This family is exactly that. After an earlier session needed to be rescheduled because of  *literally* the most rain I’ve ever seen fall from the sky in my entire life, we thankfully lucked out. I got to spend another perfect summer morning in Yaddo with Dave, Danielle, Riley and Reagan, capturing their awesome little family. It’s always a session I look forward to. Now, my only real question is, when will Dave & Danielle adopt me?

Photo REWIND// Baby Cruz’s Sleepy Hospital Session // Niskayuna, NY

When Baby Cruz + Mom and Dad (as well as some visiting family) had a relaxed hospital session back in late February , I was obsessed with the images right away. So much so that it distracted me from ever posting them in a blog because I could never narrow them down! So we are doing a little rewind day today on the blog to celebrate Cruz.

At one day old, he was a tiny little dude with a head of hair most adult men only dream of. Check out his sleepy, cozy little session to take the sting out of your Monday.

Kayte & Corey’s Yaddo E-Session // Yaddo Gardens – Saratoga Springs, NY

Oh, man. Time flies when you’re planning a wedding! It’s easy to lose track of whats been done and what hasn’t. Luckily we realized that Kayte and Corey had been so busy planning their day that they hadn’t had a chance to do their E-Session yet. With their big day fast approaching( a mere 6 weeks away!), we found some free time, and a little luck, and turned that into a gorgeous summer evening session at Yaddo. Thankfully, we had perfect weather, only a few mosquitos, and lots of love. I just can’t wait to be a part of Kayte and Corey’s big day at the Altamont Winery in September!

Latrice & John’s Dec. 31st 2016, NYE Wedding // National Museum of Dance, Saratoga Springs, NY

What a gorgeous night this was for Latrice & John! With the electricity of New Years Eve in the air, the magic of the National Museum of Dance, the energy of DJ Cool Cat and joys of all things Mazzone; How could it have been anything less? The perfect evening for a couple I adore.

I can count on one hand the number of times I’ve prayed for snow  in my adult life. Latrice & John’s New Years Eve Wedding was one of those times. And mother nature almost held out on us, but at the very end of the night, the flurries started and we got our wish. THANK GOD! Because you know I love a good nighttime snowfall photo-op!

Congratulations Latrice & John! 2017 has already brought you great things. All the best to you.

Here’s to the new Mr. and Mrs!

Cheers!

Sam & Jack’s Bolton Landing, NY Wedding – November 12th, 2016

It’s about time that I get the blogging underway, and what better place to start than a post of one of my favorite weddings from 2016!

After finding out how complicated planning a wedding can be from abroad, Sam and Jack (who live in London) opted for something simple and intimate with their families in Sam’s hometown. Jack’s family traveled with the couple from London to be a part of this beautifully authentic celebration of a couple who brings the best out of each other.

Sam and Jack are one of those couples who have the ability to put you in a good mood just by being around them. They are a warm, playful, hilarious and easy going pair who had me feeling all the feels the entire day. I was so happy to get the chance to document that in photographs.

I loved how intimate this wedding was. I loved the quite moments. I loved the brides pre-wedding playlist. I loved the grooms reactions all day. I loved the location. I loved it all.

Sam and Jack, here’s to a long and happy life together! Thank you so much for inviting me to be there to document such an incredibly well matched and beautiful couple!

Cheers!
